Country Squire Road

Rustic Country Living

We built this project in the summer and fall of 2006 in Waterloo Ontario.

The home was a new build and was placed in the middle of a bush north of waterloo. A rustic look and feel is present with the exterior of the home as well as the in  landscaping.

The large oval shaped driveway has a feature garden in the center, and provides plenty of parking space. Large borders and banding separates the areas of the driveway.

All of the other landscaping was completed using natural stone. Armour stone is used to retain the driveway, as well as the stairs. Armour stone was also used for a fire pit beside the pond. The stair treads are natural limestone from a quarry in Northern Ontario. Also the pathways were built using Wiarton irregular flagstone.
