A nip is in the air, and fall is headed our way!
After a great summer of fun in the sun, we’re ready to put on our long sleeves and cozy up with some beautiful views of autumn leaves.
Here are some ways to prepare your yard for fall while it’s still warm:
Rearrange Your Plants Accordingly
If you have a greenhouse, you’re in luck! Your plants can stay in there for a little bit longer. Anything else should come inside or move to someplace warmer as the temperatures drop.
Prepare for the First Freeze
Ensure you have no water in your hose or other pipes before the first freeze of the year. You’ll also want to prep any plant coverings you need to keep your perennials thriving!

Organize Your Storage
Now is a great time to take a look at your supplies and evaluate what can be tossed and what needs to be easily accessible for the cold weather months. You don’t want to have to dig out your snowblower when it’s already snowing!
